A tasting experience

At Fig & Feta, we’re bringing something new to Eastbourne’s dining. A weekly tasting menu, served every Friday and Saturday night.

Our head chef, Nic Oarton, brings over 30 years of experience from fine dining restaurants to boutique wine bars. Having trained under Michelin-starred chefs and worked in renowned Eastbourne venues like Cru Wine Bar and The Mirabelle at The Grand, Nic’s passion lies in crafting seasonal, flavour-packed dishes that celebrate the best of Mediterranean cuisine.

Each week, our menu evolves with fresh, local ingredients, offering a unique experience every time you dine. Whether you’re here for the full tasting journey or just stopping by for drinks and nibbles, we can’t wait to welcome you.

First Course

Oyster Mushroom, Asparagus, Truffle and Potato Purée

served with a Marsala cream.

Second Course

Roasted Cauliflower, Corn & Coconut Chowder

Served with chilli cornbread croutons. Creamy with a whisper of heat and crunch.

Third Course

Smoked Mackerel Pâté & Boxty Cake

or Smoked Baba Ganoush (veg)

Accompanied by a sharp pickled gooseberry ketchup.

Fourth Course

Duck Leg Confit & Toulouse Sausage Cassoulet

or Lentil, quinoa & pistachio polpette with bean cassoulet (veg)

With Swiss chard, caramelised shallots, and orange zest. 

Fifth Dessert Course

White Chocolate & Cardamom Panna Cotta

Paired with raspberry sorbet, glazed and toasted house-made marshmallow.
